Why Zocoify exists
Zocoify started with a simple, stubborn belief: women over 50 shouldn't have to choose between shoes that hurt and shoes that look like giving up.
Our founder spent three decades on her feet — first as a nurse, then raising a family — and like millions of women, she quietly accepted that summer meant aching feet by 2pm. Her closet told the story: one row of pretty sandals she could survive ninety minutes in, and one "sensible" pair she only wore when nobody she knew would see her.
The turning point came from a conversation with a podiatrist in the family, who explained the three things that actually make a sandal comfortable — a contoured footbed your arch rests on, a secure front hold so your toes stop gripping, and a low one-piece platform that takes the pressure off your heel. Almost no sandal on the market had all three. None of the pretty ones did.
So we built it. The Amara Toe-Loop Platform Sandal is those three principles, hidden inside a silhouette you'd have picked anyway — braided straps, six colors, a little height.
What we promise
